The Eva McCall Memorial Scholarsip will be an endowed scholarship at Southwestern Community College in Sylva for students who are degree-seeking and are authors or aspiring authors.  $15,000 is the amount needed for the endowment to be created, and $500 will be awarded to a selected recipient each year.  The additional $500 requested will allow the SCC Foundation to make an immediate award for the 2018-2019 year.  Any additional funds raised will go into the endowment, so additional funds can be awarded at a later date.
